How Image Processing Works
JPGcompressor performs all compression locally in your browser using standard web APIs such as FileReader and Canvas. This means:
- Your images do not get uploaded to any server.
- No copies are stored, logged, or transmitted.
- Your compressed images remain fully on your device.
If we introduce an optional cloud-processing mode in the future, any images processed that way will be automatically deleted within 1 hour, and users will be able to delete them immediately after compression.
Third-Party Analytics Tools
We use third-party analytics tools to understand how visitors use the website. These tools may collect general usage information such as:
- Page visits and navigation patterns
- Browser and device type
- Approximate location (city-level)
This helps us improve performance and usability. No image data is ever included in analytics. No personally identifiable information is collected unless you explicitly provide it.
